DM012 - Questões Demográficas Atuais - 1S/2025 Imprimir

Ementa:

Dados o caráter interdisciplinar da Demografia e a diversidade de formação dos alunos, esta disciplina fornecerá um panorama das questões populacionais mais relevantes nos dias atuais, ressaltando, de uma perspectiva histórica, a configuração dessas questões, sua comparabilidade na situação de diversos países, bem como suas implicações, em um esforço de reflexão prospectiva. O objetivo principal é sensibilizar e sintonizar os alunos com a problemática geral do curso e suas especificidades, bem como familiarizá-los com dados, informações e bibliografia recentes nacionais e internacionais. Estes objetivos implicam em resgatar as principais tradições teóricas que informam a problemática a ser estudada, oriundas de outras disciplinas, especialmente da economia e das ciências sociais. Parte-se do pressuposto de que a compreensão das questões só é possível à luz dessas tradições.
